==Peavey BQuad 5 - Recent Factory Inspection - $1400==

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello.
I've located a European Botique Bass that I'm very interested in buying... it will be $$$$$$$$

I'll pick it up if there's a cool buyer for my BQuad 5. (I'll still need $$$$$$$ more to buy the other bass)

Unlike most BQuads, this has not been "modified" or damage to the piezos.

Recently was insepected at the Peavey factory (in Meridian MS).

I will include a molded BQuad factory (TKL) case.

Note -- if my dream bass is gone, this is not for sale.

I'll take pix tonight - can email in the morning.

Pix coming in a bit.. blue..

Spacing.. I didn't measure.. thin sleek Peavey spacing.. the strings do not taper out as far as a dyna.

Body and neck were both designed to go together..

It would be Monday before I could take additional measurements.

Beautiful bass. This is 35" scale?
Also, what are the 2 jacks?

That is one of the better flame patterns I have seen on a B-Quad. A lot of them look great on one half and not as flamed on the other. This one looks perfectly matched.

Someone had asked about string spacing: The Wilkinson bridge on mine is adjustable so I assume the same for MNA's. There is a fair amount of room on the neck to play with in that regard. Without measuring, 17-18.

Dang, I wish I could afford this! I've wanted one ever since I let the fretless 5er go to perfektspace6! I'd guess the spacing is somewhere around 17... my Roscoe feels wider with it's 18mm spacing. As always, I reserve the right to be wrong! Good luck on the sale.

Thank you --- my apologies for not polishing it before pix.. just shoot and post. I do not pose pix as I beleieve the recipient should see it in it's true light.

I can hold for a payment plan with a down.. just need to commit on the $$$$$ european bass.

Hey, I'm getting a lot of mileage out of it. Still plays and looks great. Haven't seen another black one on the bay or otherwise yet.

Sweet bass and I think the price is reasonable considering the condition and the beauty of that flame. Not to mention it having the original case. This is not an easy body shape to find a hardshell that fits well.

Perfekt

Thanks for the note.

The case is important as the headstock tilts back more than standard basses. Jamming them in a cheap case puts unnecssary stress on the head stock.

Like noted.. if my wanted $$$$ bass is sells before this does, I'll be pulling the BQuad.. I'm not 100% certain I'm upgrading.

Kevin (Tber) convinced me to test Carbon Fiber necks.. he was correct.. they're addictive... addictive enough I bought a Linc Luthier to trade for his Bogart Fretless.

IF I didn't just purchase a bass from MNAirhead, I'd be all over this one in a flash.

It would match my rickenbacker 4004Cii Blueburst too!
