Great Bass !

I own the fretless sister of this beauty:

Among all other high-end basses I already own this Ritter fretless is my favourite in musical articulation and feel. Don't think this is only a nice looking bass, it sounds and plays GREAT.

I would like to trade in a Ken Lawrence Brase 5 or an Alembic Rogue 5 or a Ken Smith BSR5EG, all mint. Unfortunately I'm living in Germany so the instruments exchange seems to be difficult...

If you ever decide to SELL the bass let me know - would be nice to complete the pair... . If you like please send me your buy-it-now-price by PM.

Good luck !

you're killing me Marshall...
You have any soundclips of it? Never played a Ritter but always wanted to. What do you string it with normally? Those swordsteels would bankrupt me

Hey Andy,

I don't have great soundclips, but there are a few at my old band's website: http://burdenhand.com

Check out the quicktime of "My Ocean" on the home page. Also, go to the Music page and listen to "Roll With Me".

Marshall

It's not for sure yet; keeping this wouldn't be so bad

Andy or anyone else, just put a track up here:

Marshall

Edit: Just got that domain, and changed the hosting setup so it was temporarily down...should be up now.

Sorry for the additional bump. FWIW, I just remembered I played this entire show (link below) on the Ritter. Not a great mix, but I'm playing in SC mode on some songs and HB on others...probably all passive, as I don't tend to touch the active pre when I'm playing live.

Yes there are flubs!

That Ritter sounds good. At least it sounds good with you playing it.

Who wants to be a jedi?

Closing in on a few offers...so speak up if you're tempted. By the end of this weekend, she'll be spoken for.

Thanks,
M

thanks for the clips Marshall, sounds real nice.

I'm tempted on making you a multiple bass offer myself, but probably shouldn't...
