Another case of the, "I never thought i'd do this" for sale threads
What we've got here is a delicious '05 LE Stingray, in the beautiful Buttercream, which is very difficult to capture in photo's, but absolutely gorgeous with its matching headstock and maroon, silk screened writing.
This bass, according to Ernie Ball and crew, is only 1 of 4 done in this limited edition run with the 2 band eq.
Now to the bass: I've owned this since '05 and it's spent the majority of its life inside of the beautiful, brown w/gold trim, gold lined case... which is included and in almost prisine condition. It has never been gigged, a shame really and has been handled with the utmost care. Pretty light for a Stingray too. Don't know the exact weight, but can't be more than 9 lbs.
It's 6 years old and looks like it came out of the shop last week. Even the pickguard has very minimal swirling. There is one blemish on the back, lower edge, which I did one day going to set it in its stand. It slipped through my fingers and landed on the leg of the stand, putting an indent and small, hairline crack in the finish. It's not very noticeable unless you really look for it. One of those things that only you would ever know it's there. I tried to photograph it, but it's very difficult.
Anyways guys and gals, it's a truly fantastic bass. It's got a wonderful G-string too, which is sometimes an issue with Stingray's. The ONLY reason i'm selling is the usual. GAS and i'm not a collector, so this beauty deserves to be played, in a good home with someone who will appreciate it as much as I do.
Think that's about it. Let me know if I forgot anything.
$1100 shipped and she's yours. CONUS ONLY. Sorry, but no trades. Paypal ok.
Thanks for looking

This thing is beautiful and has such cool tone...
Hard to find an HS used this clean well kept. A true case queen for sure.
Will do some head scratching tonight and see my options... |

I was always dialed into ebay ( better known these days as FEEbay ) for my bass GAS attacks.
but now, Lately so many beautiful basses have popped up here. This seems like THE place to shop for quality used basses. |
