06 MIA Fender Jazz Std. Must Go!!

I'm trying to fund the purchase of a Ric so I need to let something go. Up for sale is my 2006 USA Jazz Candy Apple Red S-1 Switch, Rosewood Board all stock. It's in great shape, no nicks or dings, but some light swirling on the back. Comes with an SKB hardshell case.

I may be very interested -

Can you weigh it for me?

Is the swirling on the back "polishable" - Do you think a good polishing will get it out? or is it denting from a beltbuckle?

Lastly, Can you tell me if the neck is graphite-reinforced (not sure if they did that yet in 2006) and how thin is the neck? (measured from the back of it to the top of the 1st fret)

Sorry for all the questions but they're important to me. I would not be reselling the bass, I'd be gigging with it and I know what I like and need in a bass.

Weight...unfortunately I don't have a scale here. It's heavier than my 2008 P, but that thing is really light. I'm going to venture it's about 9 lbs. I can try to take it later today and weigh it somewhere.

Swirling...I believe it is totally polishable. There are no buckle dents at all. I never wear a belt when playing it, so it's all just from shirts rubbing. I'm not even able to capture the swirling with my camera.

Neck...Yes it is graphite reinforced. I measured it and to me it looks like 7/8" maybe a little less.

I am trying to replace my (stolen) J-bass. Funds are limited this time of year. All I can scrape up is $500 and that seems to be dwindling. Damned kids need to be fed, day after day after day!!!
