'07 USA Fender Precision Oly White and RW with '08 Upgrades

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD.

'07 Am Standard Precision with '08 upgrades in the popular Olympic White/Tortoise/Rosewood combo. No issues with electronics, truss rod, etc. All working parts function as they should.

This was played a bit by a former owner and shows the signs on the back with surface scratches, nicks, dings and dimples. The front has a couple of dings with the most significant on the body just below the volume knob. (I was unable to capture any of these in photographs.)

That aside, it's a great player with a very comfortable neck and nice action with very little fret wear. It's got all the vibe one expects from a P. Currently strung with stainless D'adarrios. Weight, according to the bathroom scale is... 9.2 lbs. Comes with gig bag in photos.

$805 shipped to the 48 via Paypal or USPS MO. Can ship to Canada for an additional $65.00. PM me with any questions. Thanks...

If any issues with photos, PM me and I will send them via email.

To clarify, the serial number on this bass is marked as an '07. However, it does have the 08 spec'd "high mass" bridge. Further, it DOES NOT have the S-1 switch which was discontinued in 08.

The primary upgrades are a high mass bridge, rather than the traditional Fender piece, graphite supporting rods in the neck, rolled edges on the neck/fretboard and a deliberate attempt tp make each instrument as light as possible. Thanks.

This looks like my old bass. Wish I had the cash to buy it back -was nice and light, played great, and a had the classic p-bass tone. Good luck with the sale!

Nice bass, and nice price Mike! If I were in the market, I'd be all over this. Unfortunately (well, fortunately for me), I already have 4 nice P's. Somebody needs to jump on this!
