So, I've got a bass here needing a home. A candy cola/maple 08 J, and the P has been sold (EDIT). Both are in the 8.5-9 lb range, both play wonderfully
Unfortunately, my current gigging situation isn't exactly demanding enough to justify American Fenders, so here they are.
Comes with the Fender SKB case, the wrenches, cloth, and letter from TPB (where I ordered it from, Aug. 08)
$800 firm shipped CONUS.
Only trades considered would be 4 string G&Ls - ideally an L1000 or possibly an L2000, but I'd consider SBs, as well. The lighter the better, but I'm open!
Pictures below, and at: http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/k...ongbadian4747/
EDIT: The P is sold.

| | Playing his P bass off into the sunset | | Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Bellingham, WA | | PMs and trade offers received. Thanks guys, but not exactly what I'm looking for. To be fair, I'm mostly looking for a cash deal - it would have to be just the right P. Still can't hurt to shoot offers my way, though!
Here's a picture, and the rest (bigger ones, too) are here: http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/k...ongbadian4747/
The color of the J is extremely hard to photograph - it always seems to come out too dark. Just looking at it in natural light, it looks very much like a standard metallic red, but it's much more alive, deep, dynamic - a change of light can make it look a lot lighter, or much darker.
Anyway, some swirling on the PG, some light surface scratches on the body (it was my workhorse for a year and a half), some wear around the truss rod access route on the PG, but that's about it, other than one little ding in the lower horn, which I tried to photograph. Tiny, but it's there.
Feel free to ask any other questions!
