'08 Fender Am Std Precision - Oly/RW
 

Like new '08 Fender P bass. All the new features, case, candy, etc. No marks... hardly used. Pretty sure it's got the original strings on it with life left in 'em. I haven't taken pics yet but will get a few up quickly (just wanted to get the ad up before I changed my mind again). It's the classic olympic white, tort shell guard, rosewood board look. Beautiful and plays perfectly.

I have the same bass, but 2009. Mine floors me, and proves that the 2008-and-beyond MIA P's are among the best basses Fender has produced in many years. GLWTS.

Still no trade?

Yeah, still no trades. I got a lot of gear and could really use a little padding in the bank account.

Never been gigged... still has that "new car" smell in the case. I'll include a set of lightly used chromes (cut and used a short time on a different 08 I had -strung through the body).

I have a 2008 Jazz and agree with soxhats that the 2008-and-beyond MIA Fenders are among the best basses Fender has produced in many years. Must be hard to let this one go!

Weight?

After all theses years, I don't know how I don't include that in the first line of the original post! There's a fairly nice "dr office" type scale at work, but still have to do the "me with - me without" method... hair under 9 lbs. Pretty comfy but no lightweight.

I've owned several of these recent Pbasses... all great. This one's the thumpiest of the bunch. I keep trying to love 'em. I want to be a pbass guy, but I always go back to the J's...
