This is a 2007/2008 Fender "Crafted In Japan" Geddy Lee Jazz Bass.
This bass has been professionally and flawlessly modified with new Sadowsky "HumCancelling J/J" pickups, controls, wiring and pots, 9 volt pre-amp, and knobs. Battery is neatly nestled under the PG in a beautifully done mini route that fits the battery perfectly. Controls are master volume, pan, bass/treble boost. The massive tone from this bass now is ASTOUNDING! This bass offers the BEST of both worlds: The amazing sound of a Sadowsky, plus the superb playability of a MIJ Fender Geddy Lee Jazz!!
It has rash on the rear and a few touchups, but the front is pretty nice. Has a brand new custom made champagne pearl custom pickguard...the original white PG is also included. Has a Leo Quan BadAss II bridge.
As on most Geddy's...the action is amazingly low and easy. The setup and action is the best you will play on ANY bass. Has a brand new set of D'aderrio 170XL strings.
Price includes your choice of a new tan tweed locking HSC, or the original Fender "chainsaw" molded case.
All manuals for the bass, plus paperwork for the new Sadowsky electronics are included, along with the Fender books and tags and adjusting tools.
$825 firm. I'll take a MIM Fender Precision Bass as a part trade.
I will also sell just the loaded body for $450.
