FS my custom ordered 2007 Nash JB62. This is a great playing and awesome sounding bass (thanks Jason!). The neck is incredibly comfortable. This thing has MOJO!
Specs:
Burgundy Mist w/Matching Headstock
Thin Nitro Cellulose Finish
Light Relic
Lollar Jazz Pickups
Stacked Knobs
Original Gator Case
All Tags and original bill of sale
I love this bass but the bills are piling up.
I am not really interested in trades however if you have a Spector USA 5er, NS EUB or Mesa Walkabout (w/fx switch) head or combo you want to trade, pm me.
Price: $1450 (includes shipping to lower 48 via UPS ground)
BTW...edited the original post. I went and looked at the bill of sale and it is August 2007 not 2008.

I have to say, of all the Nash's I have seen, this paint job nails it. Being in nyc, I have had the opportunity to see original Fender custom color burgundy mist instruments and this nails it. The light relic looks more convincing than some of the heavier relic I have seen.
From a relicing (sp?) standpoint, most vintage instruments I have seen have the finish chip off on the bottom of the instrument where it rubs against the case when the case is stood up. The finish dries out, gets banged, a crack starts and then chips start falling off. This phenomenon is hard to create with a finish that has dried for all of a month. The other more common issue is buckle rash.....those big peace sign belt buckles in the '60's were killer on the back of many an instrument!

Any idea on the weight? Thanks

The JB is really light and I would estimate it at 8 - 8 1/2 lbs. The Pbass is really heavy and I would estimate it at 10 1/2 - 11 lbs. The Nash is in between and I would estimate it around 9 lbs. |
