Original Ampeg Baby bass with all original parts, including the aluminum bridge.
It was recently worked on by George and Heinl in Toronto to dress the fretboard and make a proper radius for low action. plays great!! NO cracks in the body!! super straight neck.
When I got the bass last year, the person that had it, barely played it, and still shows the perfect condition. The bass is ready to be played as is.
The bass is in great condition and it comes with a Ray Ramirez gig bag and an additional ray ramirez maple bridge.
Asking price $3300.00+ shipping.
I have a few youtube videos available in case somebody wants to hear it live. Added, salsa material! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u35Qk-e4u1g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVLC-IZpOGY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTxCD_Oz8aU
I had a custom flight case done a few years back and it's available for an additional $900 bucks.
I truly LOVE this bass, but I have an opportunity to buy another electric + another upright bass, and I am willing to sacrifice this monster.
So, there you have it.

Cheers

haven't really considered any trades, but as you know there would have to be a cash plus azola kind of trade.
so, leave it with me for a bit...and I'll get back soon. of course a cash deal would be preferable.
thanks

Yes indeed, they are all different bands in Toronto. the city's Latin/jazz music has grown so much in the past 5 or 6 years. We are blessed to have so much talent. You have to check it out next time you are around, give me a shout, and i'll hook you up.
thanks for the comments,
all the best |

sorry for the late reply. I think weight wise, they will be fairly close. I'll get you exact numbers later on today. I had never done on the EUB. but it is quite comfy on its gig bag and shoulder strap.
cheers |

the baby bass weights exactly 20.5 lbs! its a very light instrument. keep in mind is a hollow body filled with foam like material making it very portable.
thanks for the inquiry
