1963 Epiphone Newport rare transitional bass for sale

I have to clear gear related debt so that requires (sad to say)selling gear.
This is an interesting bass. Epiphone's version of the EBO this is loud and bassy but you can get clarity with eq. It has the offset all mahogany body of the batwing headstock basses but the 3 on a side tuners of the symetrical bodied ones. This is the only epiphone bass I've seen like this although I have seen guitars. No breaks all original except for control knobs. Period possibly original hard shell case. Price 2000.00USD plus actual shipping from Montreal Canada.
I will be putting up other basses.

Utterly amazing!!

Vintage mojo unlike anything else!

It looks like April is Mahogany Month.

I love those Gibson basses but I have both too many basses and too much debt.

I saw Colin Mouldling playing one of these but with a batwing headstock on XTC's Black Sea tour. Are the necks shaped like the old EB's too?

Wow, this is amazing. I have the matching guitar for it, a two pickup cherry red Olympic with the same transitional features. Is yours still available?
