I bought this bass a few weeks ago, some might remember the NBD thread.
But I've discovered the worn look isn't really to my taste (on this bass anyways) I'd have to refinish it to be able to play it, but TB members have told me (and I believe they're right) that to do so would be a bad idea/ a travesty. It's got mojo baby.
It's all original aside from the bridge, and it plays beautifully. Heres a demo vid w/ sound clips;

It's strung up with 40+ year old rounds, and she sure does thump.
