I bought this bass a few weeks ago, some might remember the NBD thread.
But I've discovered the worn look isn't really to my taste (on this bass anyways) I'd have to refinish it to be able to play it, but TB members have told me (and I believe they're right) that to do so would be a bad idea/ a travesty. It's got mojo baby.
It's all original aside from the bridge, and it plays beautifully. Heres a demo vid w/ sound clips; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8f_RpnRn4Y
It's strung up with 40+ year old rounds, and she sure does thump.
I'm asking $1300 $1100 $1000 $950 $800 $750 shipped anywhere in the ConUS in a NOHSC. I want this to go to someone who'll play it.
Trades I'll jump at;
Fender precision basses
'57 Fullerton Reissue precision bass
AV RI precision in blonde
Fender CS Precisions (like that's going to happen)
Guild Starfire (like that's going to happen)
DS'd Dearmond Starfire (two pickup model only, no black)
Fender Coronado II
tube driven bass heads
Of course I'll entertain all offers and trades, worst I can say is no.
But here's what you came for, the pr0n.

No idea, I can ask the original owner though. Why do you ask?

Judging by the headstock it looks like water damage. I have the same damage on my Gibson due to water damage. Can't really tell from the rest of the pictures as to the condition of the rest of the bass.

I called the OO, he denies any water damage.
Are there any specific pictures you'd like me to take?
