This here is a dream come true for many folks who want a vintage precision bass, but don't have the cash for a mint all-original one.
I picked this bass up in Atlanta in trashed condition.
It had an ugly wood-stain refinish on both the neck and body, enough to make you cry. As soon as I bought it I mailed the neck to John Kallas for a period correct restoration.
Unfortunately, buying the bass and paying for the refin have all but cleared out my bank account, and I cannot finish the job.
So what I'm selling is this.
Refinished Neck- Brazilian rosewood board, clay dots, C width. The neck stamp was mostly lost in the first refin, but John and I agree that the neck is likely an early '64 or late '63. Pre-CBS however you slice it. The replacement decal is period correct.
Original body- Covered in nasty greenish stain and thick poly. No extra routs, thank goodness. Leftover paint in the neck pocket and control routs show the original color to be Olympic white.
Hardware- Tuners, ferrules, string tree, neck plate, control knobs, and thumb rest are original. The mounting screws for the tuners, the hootenanny button, thumb rest, and string tree are also original. The two original bridge cover screws are also included. I also have the pickup mounting screws, and the strap button screws. Lots of screws to be had.
Electronics- brass shielding plate for the pickups, intact wiring harness w/ cloth wiring.
What I am missing- pickguard and shield, pickguard screws, pickups, pickup and bridge covers, strap buttons (including the headstock button, I've put a fender repro on it for now), bridge, and bridge screws.
It will be shipped in the original (albeit trashed) case.
I think that's everything, I'll add things if I remember it later, or if people ask.

I'm asking $1800 shipped CONUS, I will ship internationally for extra cash.
As far as trades go, I'd be interested in either a Roscoe Beck V plus cash or a pre-1970 jazz.
Feel free to tempt me with any combination of bass/cash. Amps are cool too!
