I picked this up from DBopp a year and half ago. I'm in need of funds for a studio build and this one needs to be with someone who will use it more.
All original 1964 Fender Precision, covers, case.
Straight and stable neck, easily adjusted, low action. Without a doubt the best P bass I've ever touched, period.
There are no issues with it. Honest wear for a 46yr old.
It is a specimen. Tone for days. From Jamerson with flats, to full out grinding rock with Rotosounds.
Anyone who shops for pre CBS' knows the drill - every year another batch of them are parted out, and of the remaining, there are just not that many left that can actually live up to the legend...
This is one of them.
I'm asking 8k.

Her back has some wear, I'll shoot a couple of shots tonight with the obligatory pickup and pots.
Please take note that the majority of finish blemishes seen in the photos are just that -- finish wear. There are very few actual dings on her that go into the wood, and of those, none are deep at all.
I was playing her last evening while doing the pics, and it is outstanding how solid and settled this bass is. I setup my instruments with crazy-low-blow-on-the-strings action, and even though we've had two weeks of insane humidity here, (complete with non-stop thundershowers) the neck has not budged, at all. Even my Sadowsky's needed adjustment, but this one not a tweak.
