Ok guy's this is truly very hard for me I have had this bass a very long time and I had it painsatkenly restored to it's glory day's, This bass is Mint, It plays wonderful and sounds wonderful the neck is ruler straight the frets are beautiful and the Resto is to die for.
The resto was done by Krishna at the guitar garage in Somerville MA and we know his work.
Here is the whole process of the restoration. http://guitargarage.blogspot.com/200...finish-to.html
All parts on this bass are original other than the pickup and I think the Thumbrest.
Some more photo's just scroll down. http://www.jfhproductions.net/64Pbag.htm
Ok guy's this is painful enough to sell my baby but I need cash, NO TRADE"S and please don't email me and lowball me this is already at a unheard of price just to move it. Any Pre CBS Fender right now is starting out at at least a 1000 over what I'm asking. $2850.00 shipped to the lower 48 state's only, Bass comes in a beat early 70's Fender Case, The bass will be packed professionally and insured and it will go to you next day., Local pickup is encouraged also.
Thanks guy's I hope it goes to a good home.

I think we have a no brainer here, folks.

I really hate to do it but I gig and play out with the others this one just sits in the case so I figured I would let it go to someone who would enjoy it. Ya can still smell the fresh Nitro!

We all followed along on the BASSMENT when you were restoring that, hope it goes to one of the family.
Anyway, to the rest of you, the Funkster is the ultimate P
bass guru. If he says it's so, it's so.
Also, I have bought numerous items from Funkster, and never
had a bad deal. Most before we had the rating system 5 or 6
years ago. Just FYI.
