Fellow bass dudes - this is a very cool bass - I am partial to Fiesta Red I'll admit, but this bass also just has a very nice feeling neck - a little different than the 66 C-neck - and more to my liking.

The pickup is a Fender '62 reissue by the way (someone asked that up above).

If I were in buying mode - I would be buying this bass from Henry - but like Henry, I have a mortgage and pesky things like that to cover.

I think my blog post shows pretty much the whole rebuild and refin process, but if anyone has any questions, please send them to me. I will vouch for the kick-ass-ness of this bass 100%.

I'm crying too, partly because my birth year is somewhat earlier.

Absolutely beautiful, I'm looking around the room (and driveway) for what I could sell real fast. Good luck, and I am so sorry you have to part with this gorgeous axe.

This bass would have looked incredible next to my Ampeg B-15-N from 1964... Both look to be in the same shape, except, my Ampeg is all Original, and minty fresh... Including hang tag and cover.

Mike, you won for a day: When I sent a message to Henry the bass had been sold to you.
Congratulations and count with me if you wanna sell in the future.
