Owner of Guitar Garage of Somerville | | Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Somerville, MA | | | Fellow bass dudes - this is a very cool bass - I am partial to Fiesta Red I'll admit, but this bass also just has a very nice feeling neck - a little different than the 66 C-neck - and more to my liking.
The pickup is a Fender '62 reissue by the way (someone asked that up above).
If I were in buying mode - I would be buying this bass from Henry - but like Henry, I have a mortgage and pesky things like that to cover.
I think my blog post shows pretty much the whole rebuild and refin process, but if anyone has any questions, please send them to me. I will vouch for the kick-ass-ness of this bass 100%.
