So this bass was almost trashed and sold for parts. Its has all the original parts except one PUP.
The body was hacked up a bit to put in the "new" MIJ staple PUP. The pots are the correct Hofner pots and date to 1965..I installed them and forgot to take pics, but I can take one out and get a pic if needed.
I have the original neck PUP and bridge. The neck has folded into the body a bit so the original bridge is too high at its lowest setting. I have a replacement that I will sand down to make the action playable. Really hard to put a value due to the problems it has, it is overall pretty clean and very nice looking. I think that it should be a pretty decent player with the new bridge.
I have been dying for a Stingray and would love to trade for any Stingray in pretty much any condition.
