1967 Fender Coronado II (Rare Color)

Sign in to disble this ad
This bass was sold to me by a fellow tb'er because he had to pay for his knee surgery. I put a brand new pair of nickel wound daddarios on it, played one gig with it and then wrecked my car. So I have to let her go This bass sounds so classic with the pure vintage hollow body tone. Great for the studio and live. It is in a beautiful Antigua color and as far as I and the owner before can tell this is the original hard shell case. There are cracks in the finish(pictured) as expected on any bass this old, but nothing into the body.

Possible trades include: 5 strings only- Lakland, sadowsky, Fender custom shop, G&L (USA only).

$1650 shipped

That color is Antigua. And yes, it's rare on a Coronado. Cool bass.

Edit: and by the way, not trying to pick on your spelling, but you should edit the title to spell "Coronado" correctly if you want people to find this with a search. Again, no offense intended, just trying to help.

I looked at the pics, and I was wondering:, aid the G string too close to the edge of the fretboard, or is that just the picture???

My friend had the 67 Coronado 2 wildwood guitar and it's in MINT condition. It was his dads and he kept it cased up mostly. No wear, no blemishes, pristine. It's an amazing guitar and the bass must be even better!

I have a red one like this, and it's my favorite bass of all times; so easy to play. I got flats on mine. I wouldn't sell it if I were you.

Anybody want to know how it sounds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7iFpLWENyA
