1968 Fender Coronado Bass Special

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a very cool bass. Short scale 30"

Has that great vintage tone with lots of low bass.

the bass is all original, no issues. It does have a few finish checks here and there (as seen in the photos) but it was given a clean bill of health from a local guitar tech.

It comes with a non original case that protects the bass very well.

Cont US only please.

Will consider trades for hollowbody basses with darkstar pickups. SHorties preferred. Also would consider a partial trade for some darkstar pickups and/or a cheap hofner copy, but must not be blocked. I need some hollow tone.

My very first bass was a fiesta red Coronado ll my dad paid $50 for it with the HSC.
Good luck selling bump.

When you say "Special", do you mean it has that word stamped on the back of the headstock? I only ask because I had a '67 Coronado Bass that was like that. Sold it a while back.

It has the stamp on the back of the headstock. I am not REALLY sure what is special other than the stamp.

IIRC Fender stamped that on some instruments made specially for an artist, etc.

I might be wrong but I can't remember where I read that to check.

Yes, the research I did on mine indicated that it was an instrument that was given or donated to someone. Nothing different about it otherwise.
