Wink 197? MIJ Jazz Bass (Aspen) Bound & Blocked Neck & Ash Body - NICE!

Sign in to disble this ad
NO TRADES PLEASE!

1970's MIJ "Aspen" brand Jazz bass. Nice bound and blocked neck. All original. Tuners, electronics and bridge all work well (tuners even turn smoothly). Neck is straight. Plays great. No known issues. Light weight (roughly 8 - 8.5 lbs). Great player and looker. $250 firm. Oh, she has a sticker on the front of the body. I've not tried to take it off. She also has her share of dings and wear, but this does not effect playability.

Additional Pics (as requested)!

I had one of these several years ago. Good player, but mine was more like 12lbs!

I have the Rosewood-boarded version and it is a fine bass! I think Aspen was a division of the Hondo company from what I've been able to dig up...
