1970s Epiphone ET-285 Bass, good bass for cheap!

I bought this in a moment of nostalgia--it's the same model I first started on in high school--but I really need to prune my collection and can't justify keeping this one!

It's a bit banged up and not going to win a lot of beauty contests, but it is fine structurally and plays good and sounds good--lots of nice fundamental oomph--and I'll throw in a decent case all for the low low price of

$200 shipped in the lower 48, $150 local pickup in nyc.

Scale length and weight, please.

I'd like to see some more pics too.

Bass is in storage, I'll measure next time but have seen mention online that this model is short-scale.

Weight will be tougher to measure--I don't have a scale. I'm a good judge of weight though and will investigate next time I see it. It's certainly not a boat-anchor, maybe 9lbs or less?

Stylish.
BTW, I call my cat, Nostrils, *kittyboy* sometimes. He doesn't play bass, though.

This is a really cool looking bass! I read a review saying that it was a Nitro finish, any chance this is true?
