1971 jazz bass 2700.00 firm

Sign in to disble this ad
This 1971 Fender Jazz Bass, serial no. 319647, is a true American Classic. The sweet tone can do anything from Jazz to Heavy Metal. The laquer has a few small chips, front and back, and the input jack is in need of replacement. Other than that it is in excellent condition, a beauty in Sunburst, with the slightly narrower neck than the P-bass, and to me, the more comfortable body.It comes with the hard case pictured. There are stickers and a painting on the outside of the case, but I make no apologies for that. The reason I am selling this is I just had some unexpected dental work come up that some how I will have to pay for. this bass is all original in order for to have it playing to my specifications I would alter it reducing its value. I do not have the covers for it. it is exactly the way I got it. It has a great tone however the output functions but will need to be repaired or replaced asap. 2700.00us paypal preferred includes shipping

... nice looking bass !!

you might want to rethink that statement about it being all original ...

and you might also want to take some better pictures ,
cell phone shots will not help your sale .

no offense intended , just trying to help a brother out ...

peace and good luck ,
dave

Can you ask GOD for a better picture of your bass, I am one of HIS followers and interested in the bass. However, I need to see a better quality picture of it.

Hello, I'm not sure which kind of experience you may have selling old fenders, but unless you can provide detailed photos of the neck, pots, headstock and rear of the pickups nobody will take this ad too seriously.
Don't be offended though, this is just a suggestion.

I'll second this. Do you know anyone who'd let you borrow a digital camera for a few hours or maybe even a local TB'er could help ya out?

Looks great, but for $2600 you need all the photos. All the best.

nice looking bass.
you state: " however the output functions but will need to be repaired or replaced asap" could you elaborate on that a bit please.
also, how's the wear on the frets and how much does it weigh?
thanks

The frets are still there and have a nice crown to them. The output jack needs to be replaced? I thought that when I first started this thread. but now I think its fine.

Weight I am not sure heavier than my 62 p but lighter than my 78.
