Here is a great playing and sounding P with plenty of "mojo".
This has a '72 "B" neck which feels solid as a rock. I have the action set pretty low and it plays great. It is not all original and not a collectors piece, it's been played well and for good reason.
Weight comes in just over 9lbs and the body has that nice old dry-wood resonance.
Beautiful old patina with checking on the headstock.
I'll try and do a rundown on the orig/non-orig parts to the best of my ability and if any of you Fender experts know better feel free to chime in.
Original:
Neck= 72B
Tuners
Body- I believe it had a refin quite some time ago but I see no signs of another color. It was a good one if so and has aged well.
Neckplate
Pot's look right but I can't make out the numbers.
Pickguard has shrunk and looks aged- probably orig.
The bridge looks period correct but a bit newer than I would expect.
Knobs- don't know
For sure non-orig:
P/U's- appear to be adjustable pole DiMarzios which were a common mod in the 70's & 80's.
Ashtrays
Tugbar
Funtime:

The bottom line is this is a "mostly original" great playing old P.
1500 shipped CONUS in an non orig HSC.
