I’ve decided to relist this (again)at a lower price. Great looking black blocks and binding on a maple neck. Tons of vintage J Bass punch. There is some body wear; this one has been played as you can see in the pictures. Sounds great, plays great, and the neck's straight. To my knowledge. the are three non-original parts on this bass.
First, the neck has been flawlessly refretted. It was done here in Chicago by Geoff Benge. Here is his site:

Second, the bridge pickup has been rewound by J.M. Rolph, also one of the best in the business.

Third, the volume pots have been replaced at some point. You can see this in the picture.
(Edit. The bass is 8.90 lbs. See photo further downthread.) I would say this is medium weight, lighter than most 70's Fenders, but not 60's light, with a pretty traditional 70's J neck, not too skinny.
What I believe is the original case, along with the owners manual and covers, is included. I would prefer continental US shipment only and Paypal. The price is $2600. I'll post further pictures below. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions!
