Up for sale 1972 Precision with ohsc
It has been modded with a EMG's PJ set up and a Badass Bridge (only routing done was for the J)
She plays really really well, lower action than I normally play with, and still no buzz.
Light weight, I'm weighing with Wii Fit and it's coming in just under 8 Lbs.
If I were gonna keep her I'd install some duncan antiquity's and set it up with a vintage bridge, a J bridge cover and a P pick up cover and call it a day, but money tight so we'll see what happens.
Anyway, The old Fender has taking a liking to its Jr equivalent, My LTD Vintage 204 (It seems they follow each other around the house, from amp to amp)
Although, a little Heavier (about 9-1/2 Lbs) and with a little more J like neck, it nails the feel tone and vibe of its older inspiration.
So (see below) for the pair! Partial trades welcome, but I need at least half in $
Meets 2011
Chase direct pay is preferred, but....

No need to change pickups, as this bass nails the vintage p/j tone with those SIT strings.
I got the LTD off, (hard work), and replaced it with a ESP slide on. Looks, sounds and plays just like the ESP $1300 bass for a fraction of the cost.
$250 is a very good deal. Good Luck.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: SoCal | | | that is a great deal for the '72. I have a same spec '71 (no extra pickup, no emg's) and it is hands down the best sounding and recording bass I own. early 70's chunky B necks rule, and are key to the fat sound of that era...IMHO.

This thing has me listing my Ken Smith.... whichever one goes first....

So $1675.00 for the pair or $1500.00 for the P.
I will ship overseas, But will advise of additional shipping cost
