It pains me to sell this one but it's not getting any love. Vintage 1973 Precision bass with rare 1.5" "A" width jazz size neck. All original except for replacement pots. Plays and sounds like a vintage p-bass should. Smooth low action and truss rod works fine. The headstock has a golden aged tint. She weighs in at 9 lbs on the bathroom scale. No bridge or pickup covers. These are getting harder to find these days. If you want the playability of a jazz neck with the sound of a Precision bass, this is the one. This is a good one. A few dings here and there but no belt buckle rash. Includes a non original Fender tolex style hard shell case. Asking $2300.00 shipped Conus o.b.o. Sorry no trades. Paypal preferred. Additional pics available on request.

Good luck with the sales!

Price it sold for was $1675. This bass here is going to fetch a lot of attention. I bet if the OP took some nice close up pics of it in the sunlight, you would really ignite the GAS that is stored up here on TB! Best of luck with this sale! I'll subscribe just because I am curious... Don't see many A necks here at all... |

The width at nut actually measures 1-3/8.
It started life as a fretless (dots ON the frets, up top).
A brass nut and bad ass II later, it is the perfect bass.
it was pretty cheap to
