For reasons I won’t bore you all with (but needless to say involves some poor planning on my part) I recently acquired two Fender fretless P basses from the early 1970s.
The bass I’m looking to sell is from 1973, won at auction a couple of weeks ago, and the auction description is as follows:
Fender Fretless Precision Bass Sunburst Electric Bass Guitar, #506663. Rare fretless model, has minimal weather checking. Has a few scuffs, dings, and scrapes overall. Minimal play wear to fretless neck. Pot dates to tenth week of 1973. Original hard case included. Condition: Good. 
I haven’t played the bass,, but you can see from the images that it’s in superb condition.
Now, I don’t need two of these basses, so my plan is to consign this bass back to the auction house I bought it from. However, I thought I’d offer it here first, so if anyone wants it they’d need to pay me
$2000 (which is what it cost me, will happily provide evidence to confirm this) plus the shipping.
I know it’s a long shot, but I’m just putting it out there in case anyone fancies it…..
