1973 Gibson Les Paul Triumph

Sign in to disble this ad
I am selling my 1973 Gibson Les Paul Triumph Bass. The bass is 100% original mechanically and cosmetically. There were under 400 of these made back in the day and you just simply don't see them too often! The pickups are the highly sought after original Les Paul Recording Pickups. The bass has been well taken care of since I've owned it and plays perfectly. As seen in the photos, there is some "vintage" wear and tear on the body. Any "chips" you see are just surface, nothing deep! Neck/electronics are both in excellent shape! Comes with original Gibson case. These usually go for anywhere from $2,500 to $3,500 these days in mint condition. Contact 508 446-3792 Have plenty of pictures! $1600

I had one of these 4 or 5 years ago. Awesome bass! Tons of tonal options. Mine was a boat anchor, but that was the only downside. Awesome bass!!!! GLWTS!

What was up with Gibson and their obsession with making short scale basses?

I have one of these (well, 2 actually).
Great basses. A bit heavy probably, neck is sweeter than sweet. The electronics on these are simply awesome. Probably the best bass pups I have heard, and I have heard a few.
Gibson should reissue these pups.
Free bump for a bass that's hard to find.
