1973 PBass___Great Player Bass!!~

OK, this is a great player P Bass. New set of Ernie Ball Flats, just had it set up and frets spot leveled. SN 328531 puts it at a 1971-1973. The neck stamp is 1972.
The pickups are 16-44-73, although one pickup is impossible to read code, but they look identical and im positive they are a matched pair.

The pot codes are 1377533, and 13775** (cant read the last two numbers) That puts the pots at 1975 ( I think). So most likely they were replaced in 1975. The bass was refinshed, looks great and was professionally done. Has some gashes on the bottom. Truss rod works as it should, neck is straight and frets are in fine condition. Plays great, ready for the stage. Nut width is 1 5/8"

Want this bass to find a good home, so selling for a very reasonable price of

$1650 $1600 shipped

I have a cheap gig bag that ill ship it in.

Im pretty sure we weighed it at 8.4lbs, but honestly can't remember for sure. It feels light for a vintage p bass though, no doubt about it.

I guess it wasnt meant to be, Mojo Man.

Lots of interest thus far, but still here...This thing is a great playing bass, don't miss out...You'll be hard pressed to find another 1973 P bass for this price anytime soon.

This is pretty tempting. Did you ever verify that it's under 9 lbs?
