I acquired this fantastic bass in a trade with Fran a few months ago. It's a 1974 4001 in Burg and has the red dots. All original. Comes with original hard case. I do not have the pickup cover.
Fran added a bypass to the bridge pickup, making it as hot as the neck pickup. I have not looked under the hood, but Fran told me that it is 100% reversible.
Plays great. Strung with TI flats. I don't think you could find one of these in better condition.
I'm not sure of the market right now, so I'll start at $2700 shipped in the USA.
