Up for grabs is a killer '77 Jazz in mocha w/ bound & blocked maple neck. The body is a two piece ash that is amazingly matched. The bass is 100% original and in great shape for its age. It has a few nicks on the butt that I tried to get in the pics, and a few other tiny bumps that I really couldn't get to come out with my (lack of) photography skills. I don't have a scale at the moment, but I would guess that it weighs ~ 9 1/2 to 10 lbs range. Not real heavy and balances wonderfully.
I think the G tuner is a older nickel tuner that was prolly put on as leftover stock at the factory. The bass has switchcraft pots and input jack in now, but the originals are included. The previous owner said that there was a volume issue with one of the pots, but I have not checked them out. The switchcraft parts work perfectly, and I felt no need to "switch" the out. The pots are dated 1377518
$2000 shipped and insured CONUS
Pics will do this bass more justice than any words:
Now that is a beautiful mocha finish! I've got a much-loved mocha alder/rw '74 that's much the worse for wear. Free bump for that wonderful grain showing through.
