Nothing has changed, Condition is still amazing for a 1977!.
I love this bass in every way and didn't plan on selling it. but here is the situation:

I sold all my gear:
2011 Jazz bass deluxe, MarkBass combo amp and pedals i had to buy an engagement ring. My fiancee found out and said she did not want me to sell everything but i had sold everything already

only left with the 1977.

I was giving a well paying gig playing a lot of gospel songs and i am missing my fifth string a lot!

I have always been a 5 string player, as much as i love this bass because it nails the marcus miller tone exactly!!!!!!

By the way 2 things I didn't mention.

The output on my 77 was higher and brighter than my 2011 fender jazz with nordstrand single coils! Neck is awesome.

I'll try to put a clip soon, and you will definatelly hear the Marcus slap sound. Using my rc booster takes this bass to a whole nother level. I'll try to post a clip of that as well.
