Kramer bass model 450. Aluminum neck. Plays and sounds killer. Has it's share of surface "personality" which only adds to it's charm and history.
Very Alembic sounding due to it's pickup position

I was playing "Good Bye Pork Pie Hat" on it last night for a tone comparison. Obviously, Stanley's version is the best. Mine was hardly good, but it sounded good on this bass, even with old, dead strings.

I wanted a bass that could capture that metalic roundwound tone that a Rotosound-strung Rick had, but without the neck problems the 4001's were notorious for. Great bass, great tone.
