Just got this in a trade recently, but I'm really missing having a modern active bass. Therefore, this lovely Ric is up for trade before I get too attached!
This thing is in AMAZING condition. It's like it was bought new in '77 and played maybe five times. The only wear consists of two very small dings on the bottom-back edge of the bass near the strap button, and that's it. It has a Badass bridge installed, and there are a few very light, near-invisible scuffs where the original bridge touched the body. Also, the Ric-O-Sound has been removed, but can easily be restored. The Badass bridge adds a fair bit of punch to the bass, and makes setup and intonation a breeze compared to the original bridge. Nonetheless, you could easily replace it with a Hipshot or original bridge if you wanted. Also, it has Schaller straplocks installed, which are obviously a good thing to have.
But anyhoo... outstanding condition! No belt rash, headstock whacks, or arm wear. There is some light tarnish on the bridge and tuners, but just enough to remind you she's 31 years old

The electronics work great and the pickups have a lot of punch. The tone controls are very functional within the full range of operation for a variety of sounds. The neck and truss rods are dead straight, and the rods have plenty of thread left. You will not be disappointed!!
The bass comes in the OHSC (which is also in outstanding condition) and will have a non-original, vintage pickup cover included with it on the side. Also comes with some spare Schaller straplocks.
Here are a couple of youtube videos I made with the bass. They aren't the best, but check them out anyway!

I'm mainly looking for trades at the moment. 5 and 6 strings are greatly preferred but I'll consider the right 4-string model. I'm primarily interested in a Modulus 5 or 6 string, but I'm open to other high-end actives as well, such as Warwick neckthroughs, Spector, Roscoe, Elrick, Tobias, and so on....
Thanks!
