Here's another great late 70s Fender Precision. The neck dates it to 1978, but the pots and pickups date to 1980. I believe it is all original. The wire connecting to the volume pot looks like it was repaired. You can see it in one of the pics. Also the finish looks original, but the bass might have sat in the case for a few years because there is some cloudy spots on the back of the body. There is also a thin paper shim in the neck pocket.
The bass comes with original case and metal ashtray covers.
Also the bass weighs 11 pounds on my bathroom scale. That sounds heavy, but it isn't bad.
