Thumbs up 1978 / 79 BC Rich Koa Mockingbird bass-Sold!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello all!
This is a possible 78 or 79 mockingbird. It's in fantastic shape, shines like a diamond! All the electronics work, and it comes with the case pictured. Plays and sounds awesome!

If you saw the ebay auction a few weeks back, yes it's the same bass. I've had 2 non paying bidders in a row and will not be relisting it.

I would love to sell this in person. I will ship, but would rather not if I don't have to. Also I will take paypal only as a last resort! If it's really the only way, I will consider it, but I've just been through the ringer with them enough times. I realize sometimes it's the only option though.

If your outside the USA No paypal accepted under any circumstance. Sorry.

Price is 1900.00 plus ship. She's a beauty all the way around, you won't be dissapointed.

PS- I just noticed the chicken head knob for the varitone switch is missing in the pic. I took the knobs off to clean her up and it didn't get put back on. It is included.
Thanks!

I'm having a one day sale! Today only, 1750! If it doesn't go in next few days i'll be taking her off the market. You won't find another one in this shape. I haven't seen one this good in 20 years!

I am not trying to be a wise acre but would you mind telling what each control does?
I had a beat up warlock of this vintage but the controls had been dumbed down to vol vol tone.
I love the darkness and richness of it's color

Thanks for all the great comments guys, I'll definetly miss her.

sanfordandsonny Got any pics of that warlock? Love to see it.

The electronics are starting from the top knob:
Volume - volume - tone
The uppermost mini switch is for a booster
The 3 mini's are split coil front pickup, phase, split coil rear pickup

The chickenhead dial to the far right isa 5 position varitone much like on a PRS guitar.

Hope that helps.

Well, you could buy it and look at it FOR 4 hours! or 7 or 200!
The nut is just barely a hair over 1-3/4.

And from Maryland no less. My old stomping grounds. I knew ya had good taste for a reason!
