I have a beautiful 1978 Black on Black Pbass with a maple fingerboard that I have decided to move along. I am not the original owner, but have been able to verify that the parts are all original except for the output jack and I have the old part. The pickguard has been modified slightly to allow access to the truss rod. The foam under the bridge cover deteriorated over time and has been removed. Both covers are included as is the original case. Truss rod works great. There are several scratches and dings in both the bass and the case but, as you can see from these photos, nothing too drastic for a bass of this age. Weight is just under 10lb, but I will weigh it again and post a more precise weight. Sorry, no international shipments as this greatly increases shipping cost and complexity. Price is $1400 shipped. http://www.smithbergerphoto.com/projects/pbass
I would consider partial trades for Epifani cabs (preferably an UL115 or 8 ohm UL210).

Unfortunately though, I must first unload some gear before I am able to get a much desired 70's P bass. Someday... |
