1978 Fender Precision Bass Wine Red! 8 Pounds!

Great P Bass from 78. Rare wine red color, and best of all it only weighs 8 pounds! It's not a back breaker like most late 70's Fenders.

I'm pretty sure it's all original except for maybe the input jack. There is a jack in the case, so I am assuming the one installed is not original. Also, the bass is missing its knobs.
The bass also has some cool checking/finish cracks which you can see in some of the pics.

Comes with what I think is a 1960s Fender case w no logo.

I've got a 78 P that looks just like this. Weight around 9.5 though. I didn't realize the red wine was rare.

Never seen a red wine 78 before. Looks nice though. And 8 lbs has to be about a record on the light side for those things.
