1978 Vintage Jazz Bass " A Rare Vintage Classic"

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is my spectacular specimen of a Real Deal Vintage Classic Bass!!!!!!

A 100 PERCENT All Original 1978 Fender Jazz bass. A very rare instrument in a really cool, See Thru white finish that only weighs 9.8 LBS on my reliable digital bathroom scale, most ash/maple jazz basses produced during this time period all weighed in well over 12 lbs.... this is not the case with this very collectable jazz bass. This bass is so clean and comes with the original case and all of the original hang tags and owners manual and factory warranty hang tags.

There is no Fret Wear what so ever, and the truss rod functions perfectly. The pickups and electronics are all original and untouched.

Take a look at the photo's and you will notice that my photography skills suck , most of the photos were taken without the flash but the ones taken with the flash kinda gave the color a bit of a buttercream look, However the color is a real classic Olympic White finish that is quite stunning in person!

At present you will notice that there are a few other vintage basses for sale on this forum, but if you have been holding out for THE RIGHT ONE, AT THE RIGHT PRICE!, well THIS IS IT !!!!!!! And the Best Part is this vintage jazz plays and sounds spectacular and really nails that Marcus tone, and can rock that fat bottom funk tone like nobody's business

This bass was just looked at by Dean at Rudy's music NYC, and he stated " a 78 jazz bass this clean and light weight would sell for over 4k"

I am willing to sell this spectacular real deal jazz bass for $2300 firm Shipped in the US only. Paypal preferred. Please PM me with any Question or comments !

Here are a couple of photo's and more can be seen here; 78 jazz bass pictures by gn16 - Photobucket
