1978 White Fender PJ Bass - $1000 shipped

I have too many basses and don't play this one. It is a 1978 Fender American PJ bass with maple fretboard.

- It has Basslines pickups installed, but I will include the original pickups;

- the bridge has been replaced with a Bad Ass bridge

- It looks like the bass has been refinished, but it is a nice job;

- The finish on the neck has worn off in several spots near the G string, as you can see in the photos;

- I never took the bass apart to verify the pots are original, but suspect the pickguard is a replacement;

- I will include a new styled Fender Hard case with the bass

The bass may not be 100% original but it is great value for the right player, especially when the shipping, original pickups and the new case are included.

I just counted how many instruments I have. It is way over the top. So I will not be taking trades on this one. I have priced this one to move quickly. I own a business that can accept credit card payments if that helps.

On the 2nd photo, you can the decal - it reads Precision. It is a Precision neck.

The width at da'nut is 1-3/4 on that bass? I thought those were 1-5/8.

Honestly, this is my dream P bass. White, maple, tort, PJ. Perfect.

I wish this were around come the end of summer, I would do any summer job to have something like this.
