1980/81 Fender P Bass - Morocco Red - Int'l Series

Sign in to disble this ad
I've decided to sell my 1981 Fender P Bass in Morocco Red, which is in the International Series Fender did in 80/81. It's got a maple B neck. Everything is original, but I don't have the thumbrest, pickup cover, or bridge cover (I do have the screws). It's been played, but it's still in very respectable condition. There's a little bit of fret wear, but they'll be good for a while more. I just noticed that the volume pot fades fast and goes to no output at about a quarter turn. I can replace it if the buyer wants, or I can leave it as is. The pots are dated the 35th week of 1980, and one of the stickers in the neck pocket has "09 01 81" stamped on it. I'm not sure if this is the completion date, but it would fit the right time frame for the series. I'm asking $1400.00 shipped and insured CONUS. It comes with a Fender gig bag. I take Paypal.

Yeah, I love those International Series colors, just because you don't see them much. Very cool. Unfortunately the market just isn't where it once was on stuff like this. Good luck with the sale!

Another Price Drop!

I need to move this bass, so I've dropped the price to $1400 shipped CONUS. We're moving my mother in with us and I need to do a few improvements to the house, so somebody please help a poor boy!

My digital bathroom scale is driving me crazy. I'm getting anywhere from 9.6 to 12.8 pounds after weighing it may times. It's heavy , so it's probably somewhere in between those weigh-ins.
