Hate to let this one go, the fantastic p bass that it is. My GAS is your gain. I'm a sucker for vintage blonde, and when I plugged this one in, I knew it was coming home with me.
It's a p bass on steroids. I got rid of my other p's after I got it. Notice the pickup. 1980 is this first run of this model and the only run with this pickup.
The neck feels great. The frets look great. The nut width is between a P & J.
Beautiful piece of ash here. It's got some mojo. See the pickguard repair. I think it looks good without the pickguard altogether. A bridge cover gives it a '51 vibe.
I have it offered locally in the DFW area as well.
I'll pack it well for shipping.
