I bought this bass at a guitar show around 2002 for $400. Probably way more than it was worth. When I purchased it, it had active EMG pickups installed on a regular volume, volume, tone layout, and a redundant pickup selector switch. It also had all these crazy switches and an 8-position selector switch, which the seller told me could be reconnected to the original BC Rich preamp which he claimed was still in the control cavity. I used it like that for a while and it was pretty decent sounding actually. I brought this thing to a professional repair man to get the original electronics going but he told me I needed the proper original pickups, which to my knowledge were Dimarzio model P's. Right now the bass is without pickups, switches, and pots installed, has severe belt rash on the back down to the wood (not from me), and is in need of TLC. It has a black body and neck, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, a Reverse Jazz-style headstock with a rosewood-looking veneer, gotoh tuners, and a badass 2 bridge installed. I'll ship it in its hardshell Coffin case with all the electronics it came with including the EMG P's, and a new set of GHS strings. $150+shipping. If anyone is interested in parts I may go that route. Pics up later.
