looks like someone tried to pry the cover for the truss rod and nicked it a little. Dana be good took it off and adjusted truss rod with no problems.

Ill do some research and shine the bridge and nut up if I can before sale unless you desire this sort of effect. Like an old ship! Hey I dig it and the bass sounds great. Thanks for looking.

I don't have a bathroom scale. looking on the web I have been seeing people saying they are between 10 1/2 lbs and 11 1/2 lbs. but unfortunately I don't want to mislead you by guessing a weight so I won't. Youll probably want to do some research, i would assume they dont fluxuate in weight to much. Sorry

I also have an '81 SB-900, which has the "New" control layout, which is missing a knob. These are Stacked Vol/Tone & 3 Position Pickup Selector with Series/Parallel toggles. What is your "Mystery Knob?"

your the man Anthony. Keep that aria love coming | I wouldn't POLISH the Brass, but there are Brass Cleaners that make the brass look good without going overboard. Alembic has a nice cleaner, and there is a "Trick" where you soak the brass piece in a certain brand of toilet bowl cleaner over night, and it looks good the next morning. Personally, I think yours looks Great! (Mine was Waaay over done!)

Also wondering about the mystery knob. | From what I can tell the Older SB-900 had a Single Vol / Treble / Bass instead of 2 Stacked Vol/Tone's...
