1981 G&L L1000. Gorgeous ash body with maple neck. Rare slot-pole MFD pickup only available in 1981. "B00" serial code on bridge. Weighs in at 12lbs. That's right, she's a big girl. Plenty of small dings and player wear on the body, but an absolute tone monster. When I received this bass the pickup was microphonic, so I took it to local Atlanta luthier J. Holland and had it professionally repotted. The bass sound perfect now. If you are a pbass player you owe it to yourself to try an early L1000. New vintage styled Fender G&G hardshell case included.
