"BOO" serial code on bridge. Lots of finish checking and some player wear on the body, but overall in excellent shape. OHSC included. The preamp in this bass died long before I purchased it and it was converted to passive from active. That said, I do have the original dead preamp & and a replacement preamp that I will include in case someone wanted to convert it back to active. I like the way it sounds now, so I didn't bother. I bought this bass a few months ago from Chef and while I LOVE the tone & looks of it, the fretless thing just isn't working for me in my current gig.
$850 + shipping
**The only trade I'd be willing to consider is an Aguilar DB750 (+cash on my end)

| | | | Very tempting. Been looking for a nice fretless. Unfortunately, that would be almost all of my cash, and I won't be getting more until I get a summer job. Still very tempting...

| | | | As beautiful and awesome as this bass looks, it's just too much for me to spend right now. I'm probably going to start saving up for a custom build as well, so have a bump on me.
GLWTS, Man. Hope she goes.

| | | | I have almost this exact same bass, mahogany and all, just mine's an '82. It's an awesome bass, and this is a good price. |

It's set up with "L1000" coil taps for each pickup;
giving you single coil, dual parallel, and single coil with bass boost (OMG mode); complete with the right pots, caps, etc.
So, for control layout, you have pickup selector, neck coil tap, bridge coil tap,
vol/treble/bass...
This is how passive L2000's were done, on paper, in early 1981; not that I've ever actually seen a factory issue version.

For those who PM'd, I will take some pics of the back of the body & neck, as well as the headstock tonight.
