1981 Peavey T-40 w/OSHC

Sign in to disble this ad
I picked up this Peavey bass a few months ago, thinking that I'd keep it at the firehouse as a practice bass, but I can't see keeping it in it's case 20 days a month when I'm not even there. I'm probably going to just get a Squier for that.

This is a beauty with fabulous wood grain and very few dings... especially for being 30 years old. It's got new toggle switches, and a new black TUSQ nut, but it's missing the truss rod cover and the A and D saddles have a little chrome pitting...nothing that effects playability or tone.

I'm looking for $375 shipped.

Do you have the OHSC with the bass? Also, what's the weight?

Yes...I have the OHSC. I just weighed it using the bathroom scale. A whopping 12.5 lbs. Nothing different about this one, folks...these basses are like Sherman tanks!

The case is the plastic molded one. It has a small compartment under the neck.

Here's a close-up of my nut.

Nah...but thanks of the offer.

I'm mainly looking for a straight sale to replenish my "bass money" fund - after buying some gear. I guess I could be interested in a set of drum mics to record my jams with my sons...
