Up for sale is my 1981 Matsumoku Washburn Scavenger passive 4-stringer.
This bass has had the body refinished in red stain and nitro lacquer. The action is super-low, and the tone has lots of p-bass punch. The neck is in fantastic shape and all the electronics and hardware have been cleaned and lubed. It has a nearly 2" thick carved mahogany body and a rock maple neck with a very mass bridge design that has brass saddles.
There is one small ding on the top of the headstock.
It's strung with a fresh set of GHS Boomers and has been recently set up for low low action and intonation.
I just have too many basses on hand right now and I need to thin the herd a bit. I'm open to cash and to trade offers.
I've got this bass valued at
$250 with FREE shipping to anywhere in the CONUS.
