This bass has some serious mojo, its a workhorse for sure. Sadly, I don't put it to use so it must go. Its an ash/maple combo that I believe was originally transparent blue or maybe greenish blue, but over the years has faded to a pretty cool trans dark green. It plays well, sounds good, and everything works and functions as it should. My bathroom scale says its about 9.5lbs +/- a few oz.. Comes with the original case, but its seen better days. It works and protects, but the handle, latch, and two feet are broke/missing.
With the exception of black straplocks, this bass is all original. Its got a B00 serial number and black crinkle finish hardware. Its been played a ton, but it wore flats most of the time so the frets are in good shape. Its got the typical dents, dings and plenty of checking. There is some buckle rash on the back that I couldn't get in a pic, but doesn't go through the finish. The checking is more noticeable on the front because someone must have used auto wax on it and it left residue in the cracks. If anyone has any ideas how to remove it I'm all ears.
I'm looking for $1000 shipped CONUS OBO. Sorry, no trades as I'm funding other projects. Thanks for looking!
