The only thing that weirds me out is how close the bridge is to the rear pickup. But that nonwithstanding this is an awesome bass - reminds me of Spinal Tap or something - old school boutique!

Seriously nice bass, it reminds me of a more vintagey version of my Stambaugh. I hope someone buys this, good luck!

What is the nut width?
What is the fretboard radius?
What is the weight of the bass?

Wow, the memories. I played a 1982 Moonstone Eclipse very much like this one as my main axe for almost 20 years until I sold it some years ago. Super creamy sound, especially in the mid to upper register. The way it is setup, the upper range is very accessible to soloing and has fantastic sustain. Steve Helgelson is out there in the redwood forest with the Sasquatch and all sorts of other mojo when he puts these together...great basses!
To me, the nut-width felt like a jazz-style nut. As far as scale length, mine was 33 1/2", and I think that was his standard back then. It gives it a special juicy feel when you dig in a bit.

| | | | Kevin, It has been my favorite for a while too. I also have a 1982 fretless. The neck is even better than the fretted. I love them both but...I want to round out my rack woth a Jazz bass. Started on Fender and want to own one again. |

IT IS MINT
